Slax, a modern, portable, small and fast Linux operating system with a modular approach and outstanding design, is now at version 7.0.
Slax 7.0 Preview is far from being a completed project, but in the end it should provide a collection of pre-installed software for daily use, including a nice user interface, and useful recovery tools for system administrators.
I have looked everywhere to find out how to set up persistence with Slax 7.0.8, but there is no clear answer anywhere. There are answers to earlier versions of Slax, but not for 7.0.8. I am trying to get this set up with virtualbox no problem. It boots and everything, but when I restart nothing is saved. I know that something has to be done with partioning, but I'm not 100% on that.
