It has been a while since both KDE 4.3.0 and Slackware 13.0 were released. But Patrick hasn't merged KDE 4.3.x yet into the Slackware-current tree.However some members of the community have been trying to get KDE 4.3 running on Slackware and one such successful result is from Vincent Batt.

It was one of the earliest operating systems to be built on top of the Linux kernel and is the oldest currently being maintained. Slackware was created by Patrick Volkerding of Slackware Linux, Inc. in 1993.
With the release of the Slackware 13.1 Release Candidate 1, the latest update to the oldest supported Linux distro in existence is now very close. Slackware 13.1 RC1 comes less than a couple of weeks since the first beta launch and is mostly a bug-fixing release, though it comes with some updated packages as well.
