I have something weird here.
I have something weird here.
Okay, I dunno exactly what happened, but this morning when I rebooted my lappy, I leave her on so that I can listen to the Silmarillion while I slumber. lol, that sounds so weird. XD Anyway, so when I rebooted, logged in, and started X up, I immediately noticed that Skype began annoyingly starting up and immediately crashing, and because of a script I made, starting right back up
I finally got the repos enabled and installed skype, but when I run skype I get this error
bash: /usr/bin/skype: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory
Skype has launched Skype Connect 1.0 - previously available in beta as Skype for SIP - a service that enables a business' IP PBX or unified comms systems to make and receive calls via Skype.
I downloaded skype for Fedora 10+ from the official skype website and tried to install it on my fedora 11 machine by running the following command
Code:
rpm -Uvh skype-2.1.0.47-fc10.i586.rpm
and got the following error
Code:
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/bin/skype;4b15470f: cpio: read
What could be wrong.

I must say I'm pretty noob in Linux, and I'm trying to install Skype, using this
manual. I successfully download the package using comand
wget -O skype-install.deb http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-linux-deb-64
but when I try to install the package I get some errors about dependencies.
root@102:~# dpkg -i skype-install.deb
