Hi. I'm a newbie to the android world. I have my first android phone a Pantech Burst (PantechP9070) and I wanted to root without a PC. I have tried Z4root with no success and I have used Gingerbreak also with no success. Are there any other options that don't require a PC.
South Korean manufacturer Pantech is reportedly on the verge of releasing a new high-end device that will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core chip. The device will come with a 5-inch screen and a “bezel-less” design to help keep the overall device size down. The smartphone is model number IM-A870 and will be part of the Vega R Series of devices.
The South Korean mobile phone market is already pretty saturated, and the fact that a company like Pantech has been able to survive while competing with both LG and Samsung is an amazing accomplishment.
Hi all, Call me Sinner and I live in Puerto Rico. I have a Pantech Breakout adr8995 and I am using windows 7 64 bit. But my Pantech Breakout is from Open Mobile and I have a few problems with it so I will check out your forums to see if I find anything that could help me root it because honestly it has become a pain for me lol. Hope I could find help here.
I'm probably on wrong forum if so Im sorry. I received a text from my phone company a week ago. saying my pantech burst upgrade to android 4.0 ice cream sandwich...... i'm not familar with technology at all and was wondering if this would be wise to do? it does tell me to get on a computer and go to .... www.pantechusa.com/upgrade/burst and that i couldnt do it from my phone....
Pantech is usually known as a budget-friendly handset manufacturer, but according to a leak from Engadget that may all change with the soon-to-be-released P9090, aka the Magnus. This higher-end GSM based phone is heading to AT&T with an 8MP rear camera (with LED flash), a front-facing camera and will run Ice Cream sandwich or possibly even Jelly Bean.
I was wondering if someone on here would know what is going on with my phone:
I recently got the Pocket from my roommate after my LG Optimus L9 (T-Mobile) broke. I unlocked it for my carrier and I've been trying to root it for well over a month now. My problem is that SuperOneClick is not responding and crashes while I try to root the phone.
