Root bypasses any privilege check, so you have to be able to run speaker-test as a user before getting further.Solution 1: Using PulseAudio- First make sure the pulseaudio daemon is running using any task manager.- Then, make sure your app is outputting to PulseAudio: run pavucontrol, and check the playback tab.
