sometimes there are one, sometime there are two exchanges in this log file. the 100= is the stock exchange- if there are two, they are seperated by a comma.
i understand how to \ escape a comma in a regex, but I am having trouble with combining it.
Can someone tell me if there a difference between running a 1000 watt computer PSU and a 1000 watt light bulb? For instance, Im sure if you burn a 1000 watt light bulb youd burn the maximum amount of energy all the time (1000 watts).
This must be something trivial, but I don't get the following command to work:
sudo mount -o uid=1000 UUID=05fc9a6a-ce76-4c55-817f-265eb37ff4d2 /mg/somewhere
Leaving out -o uid=1000 helps, so there must be a problem there. In /var/log/syslog I can see "Unrecognized mount option "uid=1000" or missing value", but comparing this to all examples found in the man page and on the Internet (e.g.

I'm mounting s3 using s3fs with the following command:
sudo /usr/local/bin/s3fs -o use_cache=/tmp,uid=1000,gid=1000,allow_other svn.domain.com /svn
Allow_other is confirmed to be working along with cache. However, no variation/different placement of the uid/gid's is having any affect in the meta data on S3. Both the uid and gid come up as '0' in S3.
OK. After running ccr ccrtmp-1000 and ccrbuild-1000 dirs appear. If I understand correctly, I should copy megaglest.tar.xz into /tmp/ccrbuild-1000/megaglest/ and copy megaglest-data.tar.xz into /tmp/ccrbuild-1000/megaglest-data/
My OS is Ubuntu 12.10, and my account is called acgtyrant, and its UID is 1000. For the need of researching, I changed my UID from 1000 to 1010 in /etc/passwd, and then I found my files' master changed to a number:1000, which prove my suppose. But when I try to change my UID back, I found I can't edit the passwd file any more!
