This is really frustrating, Its happens with the stock player and other players I've tried, it happens with Google listen it happens with Tune in radio, the music just pauses.
Hi, I have a bit of a problem with my S2.
After about 20-30 minutes of inactivity my S2 seems to drop of 3g and turn to 2g signals.
I cannot seem to get the phone to reconnect to a 3g signal unless I restart the phone.
I've changed the settings in network mode to WCDMA only and the when the signal drops i seem to get no signal what-so-ever so I have to restart the phone and change to GSM
Hello! I've been noticing lately on my phone that I randomly stop getting signal until I toggle airplane mode on. It seems to happen when I don't use my phone for a while or when I switch from WiFi to 3g.
The phone shows it has signal, but it wont connect until I use the airplane mode.

I've been having some severe signal loss issues for a long time now. I will lose my cell signal for sending/receiving texts and calls (even though it continues to display bars). It will not come back until I notice and restart my phone. It used to be that I could turn on/off airplane mode, but this doesn't even seem to do the trick anymore. It is becoming more and more severe.
I'm just curious if there is any kind of registry editing or something like that could disable my Samsung Focus from dropping down to GPRS signal? I'm not looking to disable the internet signal entirely, I'm only looking to either drastically lower the priority of GPRS or disable it so that I only connect to EDGE and above.

- SIM card is new and i have used with nokia with no problems
- No roots s-off whatsoever
I'm having a strange behavior with my HTC Desire, due my poor 3G signal in my area i'm using GSM Only and i use mobile internet (most of the time switching between GPRS and EDGE) no complaints at all.

Currently, I'm in a place with no 4G or wifi signal at all. Once I get to the spot where I have 4 bars and try to make a call, a dialog box pops up and says "Emergency calls only". Once my signal comes back, why does this pop up?? Is there some kind of 4G signal booster that can be attached to the phone like a small antenna?
My stock (4.0.3 updated) S2 loses the signal when it sits with either the USB cable connected to my laptop or the charger cable connected.
It works for some time, then within an hour there is 'no lines' signal and I can't make a call.
If I pull the cable and wait for a few minutes it will find the signal again (3 lines) and everything works fine again.

Hi guys I am having problems with calls when talking for about half a minute or 2 minutes I loose completely signal dropping the call. I am in a good att signal area with full signal. Is anybody having this problem? I am running stock Android
