An Apple Australia spokesperson has confirmed to me via email that Australia will be definitely seeing the iPad 2 on March 25! Meanwhile, a leaked and unconfirmed list of Australian iPad 2 pricing has appeared online - details and possible pricing within.
“So why is iPad so phenomenally successful? Well it turns out that there’s a simple reason for this,” Apple CEO Tim Cook told an audience at the Apple event last week in San Jose. “People love their iPads.”
The response drew some awkward laughs as it seemed almost like the punchline of a misfired joke.
The iPad 2 arrives tomorrow, the 25th of March, in 25 countries with many more still to come, far faster than the iPad 1 last year, showing just how supremely confident, organised and prepared Apple is for 2011 to truly be the year of the iPad 2.
