I have a chance to get a "T-Mobile" nexus 4 for cheap tomorrow. Isn't it the same as the google play store version? I use straight talk and want to make sure it will work.
Secondly, I currently have a galaxy Nexus with seidio extended battery. How will the nexus 4 compare battery wise? And how about overall performance, is it that much better than my galaxy nexus? Thanks in advance.

I just started rooting and flashing and all that and finally found my msl because I was told you need that to edit your data profile. Now before I experiment with putting my phone on a straight talk plan, does anyone know if this is actually possible and if so does anyone know step for step how to do it?
Video chat works fine through Skype and Google chat/gchat/google talk (whatever it is called). BUT, I cannot route the audio to my bluetooth.
I make regular calls all day long via bluetooth in my car. But, it's not working in either of these two apps.
Is it simply not supported? Weird, as my buddy has the Galaxy Nexus for Verizon, and his phone outputs to bluetooth while using these apps.
Using the stock battery I obtained the following usage stats:
8% battery reamaining
6h 33m 20s on battery
Voice Calls: 34% use of battery
Voice Calls Detail: Time on 1h 9m 0s
By my calculations, this would put the phones entire talk time at: ~220 minutes (3.67) hours.
Per this review, they rated talk time at 8 hours and 20 minutes. Granted they said on 3g...
I have setup my nexus 4 with the general straight talk APN settings. I was wondering if there I'd a way to set it up to get faster data speeds, also my network is named home not t mobile or straight talk

I'm running a Galaxy Note with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, unlocked. I got it three weeks ago, and not once have I managed to get Google Talk to log in... except when I'm using wifi. On wifi, it's totally fine. But try to use it on the data connection, and it just refuses to log in. No errors, no explanations... it just goes grey and nothing will happen.
