People new to Linux tend to react to any reference of the Linux shell terminal with fright. But there is nothing scary about our beloved shell terminal, or what we most commonly call the command-line interface (CLI) or simple the command-line. It is a very powerful place to interact with Linux. Every operating system has its own “command-line,” including Windows.
I need to start by saying I am not sure if this is the right place.
I am trying to build root with the terminal emulator. For this cause I will need a few commands that are not in the android shell. luckily there is an option on where to read the Shell. So I copied a Linux Shell to my SD card and told the terminal that's where the Shell is.
I would like to launch a program instead of the Linux shell, that works like a shell.
An restricted working environment, with a different log in process.
But not only to close the options from the original Linux shell and the access to it.
It should run after boot, maybe after an automated log in process of the Linux shell.
The access will be restricted and the syntax/keywords/log in process used
I am trying to fully automate my simulation scripting under Linux. Currently, I manually click open a terminal, enter the commands to get the simulation running, click open another terminal, and do the similar things.
What I have done so far is having multiple shell scripts, each of which opens one terminal and does the stuff.
