https://bbs.archlinux.org – Let me say that I've kind of already posted on this in someone else's thread.  After re-reading part of the Forum Etiquette thread, I decided to give this it's own thread.   Here is that other thread:  https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 6#p1165116I had some trouble running cups after upgrading to pure systemd via the wiki.  I applied this fix: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=146154, and it didn't seem to help.  Then I noticed that journald was thrashing my cpu and SSD producing [bold]millions[/bold] of these errors:Sep 20 14 (HowTos)

When I upgraded I got[2011-07-31 18:35] VERBOSE= in rc.conf no longer has any effect. Welcome to the forum, duncant. The package is just not journald ready. However, since you have syslog-ng installed it should still be working I would reckon (just not with journalctl). Have a look here for info and alternative (last post): https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=151562
