http://forums.cpanel.net – Correct me if I am wrong: If you setup your Servers to use the mode "Synchronize changes" to the DNSonly servers the "Setup Reverse Trust Relationship" is not needed. If you setup your Servers to use the mode "Standalone" to the DNSonly servers the "Setup Reverse Trust Relationship" is needed, therefor automatically activated. If you try to uncheck "Setup Reverse Trust Relationship" no revokation is happening. If you save and reload the checkbox keeps being checked on. I have two webservers and at the moment have DNS - Round Robin setup so that they are somewhat 'failsafe' this was only ever a temporary failover solution and I am now looking at a more permanent and reliable solution. I have been looking into reverse proxy's, but I am wondering how to integrate mysql with this. I guess my question is: What would be the best setup to implement this?

1. Can you setup up more than 2 nameservers for the DNS clusters. I wanted to have at least three locations for my DNS servers.

In "normal" WHM we can do it trough Home >> Networking Setup >> Change Hostname, but what about DNSOnly ?

Also, when i run "yum update" on my DNSOnly server, i have 126 packages on update list. Is this normal that DNSOnly doesn't auto-update these packages (like bind, openssh, etc.) ?

Hi, So I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and having problems with reverse emac search which the CLI uses. Like there's this command I've entered which includes the word "sed" and when I enter alphabets after pressing Ctrl+R it wont let me type more if it has already searched up a workd. In this case it brings "setup" command but I cant enter an "e" after "se".

Strange "Setup Date" problem 1 year 4 weeks ago

Hello,

I saw something very strange in my cpanel,

all the accounts have "Setup Date" on the 11 or 12 date (and only that day) of every month. For example I created a new account today (18/05/2012) and the "Setup Date" is "12 May 18 13:03" so no matter the real date it will always say 11 February or 12 May or 11 April or 11 December or 12 June..
