So I've flashed a few ROMs on my phone, and decided I liked CM10 the best. I was previously using Slimbean 4.1.1 and was in the process of re-flashing CM10. I accidentally flashed (I THINK) the RemICS 4.0.1 ROM and got a bunch of error messages. Panicked, cleared all data, dalvik cache, the whole 9 yards and flashed the CM10 zip.

I have a huge battery drain while browsing on my sgs2 running CM10 and recently siyah 5 RC1 (before original cm10 kernel). It is hard to find threads like that, there is always talk about wakelocks and other drain issues. So I wrote a new one.
The battery drain surfing the internet over wifi is huge compared to other things I use my phone for.
I have just flashed the latest cm10 nightly on my phone, and also siyah v5... (had problems getting dorimanx to work).
what should I do to improve battery and how do I change battery profile? what extweak settings are recommended?
what app is good to monitor what is using the battery most?
I have been using CM10 for awhile and usually find it to be great. However recently I have noticed my phone doesn't seem to last a full day anymore and this is minimal screen time. I updated to CM10.1 (RC2) when it was released, I'm not sure if that contributed or if there's something else I'm missing. I have found the best performance by disabling LTE and using WiFi whenever possible.

I have flashed my LG optimus 2X to CM10 and my wifi is not working. It does not detect any wifi signals from router. I have fully wiped my phone before installing CM10. I have tried to install many times after wiping it but still there is no wifi. It works totally fine in CM7.2 but does not work on CM9 and CM10. Can you please help me to solve this problem?
I've just downloaded and flashed the latest CM10 ROM. I must say it's fantastic. A big thank you to the developers. I thought I'd report a few bugs that I found/ stuff that I felt was lacking.
Major problem: this thing doesn't report the battery charge properly. The phone didn't look like it was going to die, but it suddenly did. When I connected it to charge, it said 5%.
Well, if I understand this bootloader situation enough, we can't edit .kdz files because they are encrypted. Thus disabling us from flashing CM stuff. However, if we can't edit stuff before we flash, is it possible to edit stuff after we flash? For example, mini stuff like these
CM10 boot screen
CM10 launcher
CM10 apps? (Messaging, Contacts)
CM10 Themes?
Other CM10 stuff?
Now that the wifi tethering has been fixed in CM10 ROM (which was the only thing that was concerning me from switching over to CM10.)
But how is the battery life of CM10 in comparison to CM9? Can I use it as my daily driver or will I need to charge my phone frequently? :confused:

Nexus 7 running euroskank cm10 and motley kernel but it happened on stock ROM and kernel before root too and on parandoi android ROM.
Basically when you go into settings > battery > usage with the braph , it is always behind like 30 seconds and once you open it it will stay at that time until you remove it from the recent apps or kill with back button.
