Hello,
I have icecast2 started on my dedicated server in "internet", but i don`t see software for my desktop to make stream from my Mic and send it to icecast.
Do you know software that works with pulse audio with needed features:
1.reads inputs from mic-in (PulseAudio)
2.connect to icecast2 server
3.send stream to icecast2 server
4.
I am planning to set up a streaming server purely for internet radio using Icecast2.
what software packages do i require during Ubuntu installation and any third party apps i may require.
I am going to use BUTT(Broadcast using this tool) Encoder and would like to be able to run BUTT on any computer so that other people can broadcast to my server from anywhere.
I am looking for tips or tutorials
Does somebody knows of a streaming server which i can use for streaming audio, and, the most important, that i can use a remote source for live streaming ?
We want to setup a news station (we're a university project) and we would like to stream from our website every day during one hour. But we're not in the same physical location where the server (with the good internet connection) is.
Integrate Video Streaming Into Your C/C++ Application Using Nex Gen Media Server API
Recently I took a closer look at Nex Gen Media Server and their API
framework. NGMS is a multi-purpose streaming server which supports some
of the popular streaming protocols such as RTSP, RTMP, Apple's HTTP
Live, and MPEG-2 Transport Stream.
Hi guys. we have this problem. We install liveice and icecast version 2.3
Liveice is on a computer on our network. icecast is on a computer on the remote site. the computer with icecast hava a fixed IP 201.122.78.13
When we access the computer with the icecast server we do not see any stream. But computer have ubuntu version 9.10LTS.
Here's what I want to do: I wonder if anyone here has any ideas.
I want to stream *live* audio from one PC to another over the Internet. (The reason is for use as a backup Studio To Transmitter, or "STL," for my radio stations.) This would not be broadcast to the general public, so I don't need a 'Cast server on the Internet.
I'm setting up a terminal server for a 5 user company to replace ageing windows xp desktops.
I'm trying to set up a VPN server on ubuntu which provides internet.
I used an article that describes how to do it
http://toolongdidntread.com/linux/setting-up-a-vpn-server-on-ubuntu-to-a...
but once I connect via VPN the only address which is working is google.com. It looks wierd. It takes forever to load any other interet resource.
I am trying to configure Flumotion to work on my Ubuntu Server. At present I use LAMP to serve pages from a Virtualbox installation.
