Just got this email:
"Hi Dr. Lipschitz,
It's not every day that a customer like you comes along. So as a token of our appreciation, we wanted to give you a little something special back...a full month of service on us!
That's right - we covered your monthly charge, no strings attached. It's our way of saying thanks for being a Virgin Mobile customer.
Sound too good to be true? Nah.
This is really annoying, whenever my phone heats up, it automatically turns off. and stays unresponsive for hours upon hours. (doesn't charge, no flashing led, doesn't go into boot etc) I've figured out a way to make sure it does work, I just have to leave it in charge for plus 12 hours. but its ****ing pisstaking. its happened three times in this month. I'm running on leedroids onextreme 6.4.
So here is something crazy... about a month ago I went over my 200(250?)mb limit. I upgraded to the 2.5gig plan and was told it would take effect immediately. Low and behold, 2-3 days later my 4G disconnects and nothing gets it to start again.
After upgrading from F15 to F16 with what I thought was a single, minor issue, I am slowly running into more issues, and more severe.
All of these issues seem to be the "default" after a reboot, and are all services that do not start:
- MySQL server service does not start at bootup.
Just opened a new prepaid account for my Nexus 4. Every time I try to make a call, I get a warning that my balance is low and to refill as soon as possible to avoid interruption. I paid for whole month on a prepaid plan so I shouldn't be getting this warning at the beginning of every call. Anyone else get this when they opened a prepaid account?
I even added $10 more and still get the warning.
So, is anyone else having a service outage tonight? About 2 hours ago, both my voice and data quit working. My account is current and is set to renew early next month.
About an hour ago, the 3G data services came back, but the voice calls are still out.
Hello All
I wanted to share something that happened to me.
I was trying to updates my GSIII and was running into an issue when it would tell me i couldn't download the 82 MB Update.
I want to add a new line of service to my account, and want to get a new device for said line. I was looking at either a Note 2, Galaxy S3, or Droid DNA. However... I want to add the balance due for the phone to my account, as opposed to paying with a debit card.
I seem to meet all the requirements.
I have ddclient running on my server, which is a 12.04 box. My DDNS service is through No-IP. I received an email today from No-IP that my account will be deactivated due to inactivity. I did some more reading because I thought I had ddclient running perfectly, as it's given me no issue for months.
