http://androidforums.com – First off, let me mention that I've never owned a smartphone other than an iPhone. Well, there was that Sony-Ericsson Xperia X10 that I had for about a week in the summer of 2010 that sported such dreadful hardware that I took it back and got an iPhone 4, but that's another story. At any rate, I've got a 4S and had the opportunity to mess around with an iPhone 5. I don't want an iPhone 5, but I'll not rant about that here (I'm sure others have done that already). A couple of phones that look really great to me are the Samsung Galaxy SIII (of course) and the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (General)

Apple’s iPhone 5 became the best selling smartphone globally in Q4, pushing past Samsung’s flagship Galaxy SIII, according to research by Strategy Analytics. The data comes from its Handset Country Share Tracker service.

Should I stick with Iphone and get the 4s or get an android. If I stick with Iphone I am going to get the iphone 4s since my Iphone 4 contract ended. Android is good looking and everything but it doesn't have that iphone stuff that I am more used to and I would have to rebuy all my apps and some apps that I use aren't in the android market place.

It's easier for the average person to identify the flagship of Apple and Samsung.

Hello.

I will be upgrading from an iPhone 4 to either an iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S3 or Galaxy One Note

I've been an iPhone user since the version 3 came out in 2009. I love the iPhone but I can't stand Apple Draconian policies and restrictions.

I just switched from an iPhone to the Galaxy 3. I wanted to know if there is a way to still use my iPhone wires with some kind of converter. Specifically, I have an iPhone doc setup in my Nissan Sentra and I'm not sure how to set this up for my Samsung.

Also, does anyone know of any good car/wall charger combos? I had one for my iPhone and loved it.

Next week Samsung and Apple go at it in the courts again. I know, what else is new? Anyways, the Wall Street Journal posted some excerpts from Samsung’s trial brief. Of course Samsung’s argument is that they didn’t copy Apple’s iPhone one bit and that they were working on the next generation of mobile phones in the Summer of 2006, months before the iPhone was announced.
