http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hey everyone, I have been playing with Ubuntu Server for a bit and now I feel I am ready to take the next step and make my own business network for my small company. I would like to know if the following servers setup will do: Server 1 - Domain Controller, OpenLDAP, DHCP Server 2 - DNS Server 3 - File and Print Server Server 4 (DMZ) - Web Server Server 5 (DMZ) - E-Mail Server Of course Server 1, 2, and 3 will be in one box with VMWare and Server 4 and 5 in another box. Future plans are to expand my company so all of these services will need processor power. Suggestions and recommendation (HowTos)

I have a commercial website on an Ubuntu web server and my hosting company has a mail server for all its customers.

For security reasons, do you think I should rely on my hosting company's centralized mail server for my domain's email? Or should I just set up my own mail server on the same Cloud server?

Maybe I should use Google Apps' mail server for my own domain?

I have to rebuild the entire domain of a company I just started with. It currently runs SBS2003 but it is "FUBAR". MMC is not working, I cant use the BPA on it. I cant get adprep to work to do the prepping on this server. This server was basically setup to manage e-mail and access control.

I have a small office, with ATT Motorola modem (192.168.1.254) set as passthrough to Dlink DIR-815 (LAN 192.168.0.1) I am trying to setup DHCP server on Server 2012, and when I create new DHCP server, the title is created as 169.254.. instead of the domain name.

I have 3 AIX server namely - Server 1 , Server 2 and Server 3.

And have done SCP setup between Server 1 and Server 2 so that i dont have to give password when i transfer file from Server 1 to Server 2 by setting public key between the server.

Q1. If the unix password of the target server changes...do I need to do the public key setup again between the server1 and server 2.

Hello, I'm traying to setup a network with ubuntu server and ubuntu desktop. What i wana to acomplish:
