$105 OBO shipped OEM 5870 1gb--reference cooler, with backplate. Looks pretty nice.... wish I could keep it. But not currently using so it would be better for someone to realize its full potential rather than it sitting around in my basement.
This card was used to mine btc back in summer of 2013 for about 5 months. Didn't use for a good 2 to 3 months due to bitcoin not being profitable.
The issue: In the last two days my system has been randomly shutting down and then rebooting. There are no errors or BSOD's, just straight power off and restart. After this starts happening the time between restarts can be just a few minutes or even during post.
Data:There are no "Windows shut down unexpectedly" messages or other errors. The CPU, GPU temps are normal.
Hello to all.I'm having similar problems like this one, here using a Dell Vostro 3460, maybe is just some non-windows OS unfriendly hardware. Battery last like 5 or 6 hours on Windows, and just like 2 or 2 and a half on Arch.
I'm having trouble with my Eclipse (or more likely with my java vm) at the moment.
After 5 min of running Eclipse, I'm having constant (different) 'out of memory' errors, mainly saying 'collecting garbage error' or 'unhandled event loop error', etc - if doesnt seem to really matter, it just generates those errors.

I have a relatively new build that's been having major issues with the 270X drivers. It doesn't matter whether they're from ASUS or AMD, there's constant random video shutdown and reload along with the wonderful little "Display driver has stopped and restarted" dialogue bubble.
