Am I able to use any transition other than the default to change between virtual desktops in OpenBox?
I am able to use wmctrl to switch between desktops, but the change is immediate, I would ideally like an ~0.5second fade in/out, or from one to the other.
I'm open to installing 3rd party desktop managers, so long as they are supported by Openbox and don't require that I install an entire new de

How to skip the gkrellm window from the taskbar (on the bottom of the screen)?
How to launch it automatically when logging in?
(I can ask those separately, too.
