I'm having problems with my phone. My warranty is already over btw. My phone is having a black screen, but the touchscreen works. The rest of the phone works. Vibration, keypad buttons etc. I disassembled my phone, removing the front screen (I think its the digitizer/touchscreen) with the connection.
Hello,
Last week I dropped my phone (htc sensation). My complete screen is damaged and consist 1000 pieces at the moment. But it still works..
Another problem is that my phone cant turn the wifi on anymore. If I try, the phone is trying for 15 minutes and then says "error".
last night while flashing a theme i made i fell asleep while it was still in cwm recovery, so the phone screen stayed on all night (8 hours). when i woke up there was moving horizontal lines being displayed on my screen. i've experienced these before when my phone overheated or oc'ing. its been 4 hours since i woke up and i've refrained from using it much since then.
Hey all,
Had an account here before but forgot my password and no longer have the email :(. Anyway, my phone got damp while out on a cycle ride last night. At first the screen was working and then it started to appear slightly green and had horizontal lines across it. Now the screen is completely blank.
4" wide screen that I'm using from my laptop to make a touchscreen tablet. But my problem is that I have a 15" touch screen overlay which leaves a good 10cm of the screen unusable.
Is there a way that i can cropped the screen/desktop? so the display will only show with in the touchscreen?
Helllo everyone
I rooted my desire hd and put nik poject x rom in it.After that some horizontal flickering lines began to appear on the screen. These lines are more visible on grey background and noticeable on others. The picture quality also gotten worst. These lines doesn't appear on the splash screen but appear in recovery.
I own a Droid 4 and recently dropped it, cracked the digitizer, and replaced it. Now my touch screen is only detecting these thin horizontal lines on the upper half of the screen. I'm wondering if it's possible that I screwed up the phone on disassembly/reassembly or if it's more likely that the new digitizer is defective.
Has anyone seen anything like this before?
Thanks,
Alex
P.S.
I've been working on repairing a htc sensation that got ran over. Had some spare parts so thought i try it out. All that seemed damaged at first glace when i open the phone was the lcd screen and digitalizer. Haven't noticed anythign broken on the board.. I've recently replaced both the lcd screen and digitalizer.
My phone has fallen from the table today.
Its working fine, but there is a specific area where the touchscreen doesn't work. this specific area is on the top of the screen. so it is really not comfortable to use the device.
i have no Warranty, and not extra cash to spend,
Is there any way to fix this problem?
