Greetings !
So I bought Samsung Infuse 4g a few months ago from Canada via ROGERS. I really loved the phone but with time its stock ROM became old. I didn't liked it as ICS and Jelly Bean came in to the market.
Long story short, I jumped the Infuse ship and hitched a late ride on the GS2. I wanted to thank everyone here on the Infuse forum, especially Qkster, Scotthartbti, Dman (who is no longer on the Infuse), Mg2195, and Entropy. I arrived here about a year ago knowing only i-Devices and have learned so much since thanks to the helpful community here.
I currently have a Samsung Infuse. I'm fairly happy with it since installing CM10.1. Anyone have experience with both phones? I can get a One X for around $250. Anything else you would recommend in the same price range?

Just upgraded from the Infuse and HOLY CRAP what a difference. The Infuse, in some ways was really a misstep for Sammy. Hardware just didn't really work well. Anyway...
Looking through ROMs I was hoping to find a stock ICS where someone had pulled out the bloat. I didn't see it, but I may have missed it.
Thanks, and glad to have switched forums! Ha.
My infuse has pissed me off enough and I'm looking to upgrade ASAP. I was looking at the note 2, but then I realized the ONLY upgrades are quad core and 2GB of RAM. Almost everything else is DOWNGRADED. Did samsung have pothead 12-year-olds on the dev team for this one?
Note: If you're going to read past this point you're not allowed to comment on how much I hate my Infuse.
hello i have a samsung infuse 4g and a few months ago i rooted my phone and everything was fine until the day before yesterday. my phone constantly shuts off and i have to use the power button and volume down button for it to turn on. ive noticed that everytime i power my phone back on it will say the battery is dying. my phone also freezes up doing phone calls, web browsing, and games.
Hi, so I recently got an Infuse from someone that is still on Froyo and I figure I might as well upgrade to a custom rom.
Since I care about battery life the most, I figure I would ask which version of Android provides the best battery life for the Samsung Infuse: Gingerbread or Ice Cream Sandwich.
Samsung's Infuse 4G on AT T is a speedy Android 2.2 & Froyo& smartphone that offers a lot for its $200 price, including a 1.2GHz Hummingbird processor, an eight-megapixel camera, and a big 4.5-inch screen with Super AMOLED Plus display technology. The Infuse 4G's delights make it clear why Samsung is quickly dominating the Android smartphone market, this eWEEK review says....
For the last three months, since I softbricked and brought my Infuse back to life with GTG's Ultimate Unbrick I've been fighting the poor performance and sluggishness on my Infuse and cursing the day I rooted it! Today I started uninstalling apps right and left and BAM! We Have Performance! Sometimes, it's the simple things stupid! You've loaded too much crap on your phone! :D
