Hello,
I have 2 machines with dovecot and SElinux installed. One is x86_64 the other one is armv6l. They have the same dovecot configuration.
On the x86_64 one, dovecot runs with no problem.
I'm trying to setup SELinux on Debian 6 according to (the instructions reported on the Debian wiki).
I've run this commands:
apt-get install selinux-basics selinux-policy-default
selinux-activate
After reboot, the system should have taken a while to label the filesystems on boot and then rebooted a second time when that was complete.
I've setup Wordpress on our server. We're trying to upload some documentation files. But SELinux pops-up and says that
SELinux is preventing /usr/sbin/php-fpm from write access on the directory /opt/nginx/html/wp/wp-content/uploads.
All the file permission are correct. Is there something to be done to allow php-fpm allow write access to that directory.
I am trying to setup dovecot from this tutorial: http://library.linode.com/email/post...tu-10.04-lucid
When I use Webmin to start dovecot I keep getting this error.
I reported it, but SELinux has found a new way to screw up /rant.
After today's SELinux update, I found the timezone was changed from EDT to UTC.
Hello everyone, I have been experiencing this problem for about the last 10 days. I decided that I would experiment with SE Linux and enable it to see how everything works.
I'm using the Testing repositories, and I'm trying to configure SELinux. I found a guide for setting it up in Debian HERE, and I've edited all the appropriate config files, but I have a big problem. When I try to install selinux-policy-default, Apt wants to remove EVERYTHING that makes the system usable, including all kernels, ALSA, and all of the Xorg drivers.
Greetings,
I've installed F18 TC4 and it's running pretty well, with the exception of a SELinux issue that I can't resolve, probably due to the fact that I've never had any previous SELinux problems and I know nothing about it.
Anyway, it's the printer driver that is generating the error and the troubleshooting tips don't help.
I keep getting SELinux error messages that state "SELinux is preventing samba (/usr/sbin/smbd) "search" to / (fusefs_t)." and the like, seems that pretty much everything I do generates some kind of error. I currently have SELinux set to permissive but I don't want to continue to run that way.
