Hello,
I have 2 machines with dovecot and SElinux installed. One is x86_64 the other one is armv6l. They have the same dovecot configuration.
On the x86_64 one, dovecot runs with no problem.
I am trying to get logwatch to report on SELinux without luck so far, I think SELinux is blocking read access to the audit.log file. I tried to add a new rule using audit2allow but when I run semod... [by kafmil]
Hi,
I am setting now up a IMAP-Server with dovecot. Everything works almost fine, except Selinux.
I prepared an external Disk for Data and mounted this under /mails. This is now the maildir, which contains one directory per user.
Now i get always messages, that selinux blocks wirte access.
I reported it, but SELinux has found a new way to screw up /rant.
After today's SELinux update, I found the timezone was changed from EDT to UTC.
I have been using Fedora since fc17, and selinux has been giving me errors using fprintd, printer and other pre-installed applications. I have always depended upon selinux for troubleshooting purposes. I have recently upgraded to Fedora 18, and have notice no selinux alerts at all. I have checked to ensure that selinux is on and working properly, and it appears to be. With that said...
I got this issue when compiling linux-selinux 3.4.5-1:mkdir: cannot create directory /tmp/yaourt-tmp-user/aur-linux-selinux/pkg/linux-selinux/usr: File exists
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package_linux_selinux().

==>ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build linux-selinux
==>Restart....any suggestion?

Hello,
I am having an issue with OSSEC. Whenever a user script tries to change the memory limit, the ossec simply blocks its IP. On further research, i found that OSSEC blocks an IP if a rule of frequency greater than or equal to 6 is triggered. I need to find this rule and change its frequency. Any ideas?
Please help me ASAP!
Yesterday I found and issue with my dell laptop (intel hd video card and Ubuntu 11.10) and the 3.0.0.15-generic kernel.
I am running into an issue every time I attempt to start the puppetmasterd service, for which I receive the following error message:
root@service1 ~ # -> /etc/init.d/puppetmaster start
Starting puppetmaster: Could not prepare for execution: Got 1 failure(s) while initializing: change from absent to directory failed: Could not set 'directory on ensure: Permission denied - /etc/puppet/ssl
