I want to move my existing VMware virtual machine to the VirtualBox.
I do as described in https://blogs.oracle.com/fatbloke/entry/moving_a_vmware_vm_to
I'm trying to export my VMware virtual machine to OVF (Open Virtualization Format) using ovftool.exe tool:

Hi all,
Does anyone have any suggestions of a suitable linux distribution to run on top of VMware? I'm familiar with a few of the popular distributions but I've absolutely no experience with VMware iteslf.
The server will be running a small website with a mySQL server but reliability is absolutely essential hence the VMware thing.
I want to understand how to use KVM in CenTOS. At the moment, all I have is a VMWare ESX 5.x server to use. Is there a way to get KVM working on a system that is running on VMWare? Essentially, a nested install?
This will not be used for production purposes, only testing/learning.

Does KVM have the same performance as vmware, or better?
USB support, any issues with it like VirtualBox?

I am having trouble running VMware Workstation 9 on Ubuntu 12.10.
After successfully installing it, at run time, the following error appears:
The VMware Tools kernel modules could not be automatically rebuilt.
Please manually run:
vmware-config-tools.pl --modules-only
To rebuild them.
In an attempt to fix this problem, I am getting the following extra errors:
sudo sh /usr/bin/vmware-config-too
