My requirement is to implement Face Recognition for authenticating the user. When I made research online, I came across JavaCV as a possible library.
But I am also curious to know how face unlock works in Icecream Sandwich if any api's are available for developers?

I was using face unlock or PIN when it didn't recognise me (most of the time).
I wanted to turn this off but find the face unlock option in Security is greyed out and the message 'disabled by administrator, encryption policy or credential storage'.
I now want to turn off the PIN screen unlock and just use the ring.
i basically have 3 issues,
1. Phone doesnt connect to xp OS ( major issue)
2. face unlock doesnt start, it shows " Unfortunately face unlock has stopped"
3. The soft keys sometimes hang up, i mean they dont respond to touch.

I recently changed my lock screen to unlock using a swipe pattern. Well, I hate it and want to go back to the original settings-just swiping the screen to unlock it. However, I go into Settings - Lock Screen - Screen Lock, but most of the options are greyed out.
We are working on a project where we need to detect the exact eye location of a person. This could be on a live feed or on a still photo. The device we will use will be an Android driven screen so I'm looking for a Java library.
