And I have wordpress and mysql related but is there possible to scale only mysql? When I add-unit mysql I recieve another mysql database instead.

I want to host an application on a single server running MySQL server. To get the best performance I plan on using a UNIX socket connection (to avoid TCP overhead). Later, I would like to scale up by adding extra servers which would be MySQL read-only instances (slave) replicated from the first server (master).

I have a large image that I want to print over 4 pages, each page showing 1/4 of the overall image, that I will past together. I'm doing this from GIMP on an up-to-date fc12 system.

Googling around a bit, I found you need to divide by 1.

i have some large resolution images that I need to scale to fit every screen as a background, the images are size of 1800x2880 and I need them to scale down to every screeen without any stretching(they are illustrations). What is the best approach?

I'm writing a little app with Python and GTK+ using Quickly and Glade. I have a Gtk.Scale.Button inside of a toolbar. On button press, the pop-up with the scale shows directly under the mouse, moving the scale to the mouse position. This is a bit unexpected.

Is there any way to control the position? Is there any way to add the scale to a menu like in the volume indicator?
