My S3 all of a sudden just stopped reading ANY SD cards. I had the same one in it for 6 months and it worked fine but all of a sudden, my phone won't detect it. The card reads fine on my computer. I have tried multiple cards that work but my phone won't even recognize them to mount them. Please help!
What's the go here, I've had a 32Gb Sandisk SD card for months and months, using it for photos, apps, music storage...all of a sudden this morning it's "failing to mount"...I've turned phone off, back on, everything was fine for about an hour, bang, "SD Card failed to mount" and if I click to notification, it wants for FORMAT the card...which one would assume will wipe all my
Earlier today my phone informed me that my SD card had unexpectedly been removed and to please insert an SD card. Funny since the card is buried under the battery and cannot possibly be removed without first removing the battery. I turned off the phone and took off the battery, took out the card and put it back in.
I tried to listen to some music and notice that all my music was gone. So I check "My Files" on my phone (GSIII) and my sd card was not coming up. So I tried to pull the card up on my computer with the same results. Can sd cards burn out? Can it be fixed? HELP!!!!!!
I have a card reader in my laptop that requires that to work and it used to but just today I noticed it stopped working.
I have not had a need to use the card reader in a couple weeks and there has been kernel update so I am blaming them.
So far i have been using the old sd card that came with my Arc S. Its been working fine but ive ran out of memory. So i bought a new 32gb MicroSD HC card. Its class 4. This one to be specific -

I inserted my new sd (empty) into the phone. When the phone started, there was a Sh*t ton of lag. I basically couldnt do anything.
my sd card has been working perfectly for a while, until a few days ago when i went to download the MyNBA2K app from google play. while the app was installing my screen just randomly went black and my phone restarted itself.
Today I got a replacement Droid 3, my old Droid 3 had camera issues. I switched over the SIM card, SD card, and battery from the old to the new phone, activated it, and everything works well except the new phone doesn't seem to be recognizing the SIM card.

I've recently upgraded my HTC Velocity with the CM10 and AOKP mods and both have been working great.
Prior to this, I had the ICS ROM installed which was posted by Leigh Kennedy (if memory serves).
Anyway, the issue I'm having is with both of the JB ROMs above, the SD Card is not detectable at all.
