I bought an 8 GB and u know what? Its perfect! I have tons of apps installed and some videos and still have 3.5 gigs left. All of my music is either in the cloud or on my sd card. With USB otg I can watch all of my HD movies and listen to my 7 gigs of music. I dont regret not getting a 16 gig at all. I used the 50 I saved to buy a bunch of accessories. U really don't need 16 gigs.
I recently owned a HTC Desire with a 16GB MicroSD installed. After I bought my Galaxy S3 I didn't had another 16GB MicroSD card so I decided to keep it as a backup and use a 8GB MicroSD. After few weeks of usage I decided to put the 16GB card to use. I shut down my S3, popped out the 8GB card, copied it's contents to my WindowsPC, formatted the 16GB card to fat32 and copied the contents over.
I bit the bullet today and ordered a new S4. I love my 32 gig S3, but the deal was too good to pass up. $50.00 off from Verizon, $100 off from Comcast and Samsung will give me $180 (on a debit card) for my S3. Now, I've got to get comfortable with only 16 gigs on the S4.....
I have a 32 gig card in my S3. This card started out in my Samsung Charge and then I just popped it in the S3.
Hi.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum.
I had a 2 gig sd card and put an 8 gig into it and formated it using the android OS and it says I have 7.4 gigs but all of my external PC device managers like ******** say I only have 1.7 gigs and it won't let me put more then 1.7 gigs onto it.
What gives?
It's a Samsung Galaxy W
Thanks in advance.
Just recently purchased the LGOG today instead of the S3 and im quite satisfied however, while i was flashing my first ROM on the device it was giving directories like there was a second SD card i looked and indeed it came with an extra 16GB card? o_O i bought it from Costco, idk if this was an original item or was i just lucky? cuz now i have 32GB of space!
Use these two apps and you will never have a problem of running out of free space again. The apps are gl to sd and link2sd. I have manged to push about 10+ gigs of data to my 32 GB SD card and I still have 4 gigs of free space left on my tab. Thats crazy considering you only get 4.59 free out of the 8 gigs you are given.
Whatsup guys.
First time here on the forums.
I come to you with a small problem.
I have been an iPhone 4 user for the past two years and recently just made the switch to the Galaxy S3 on Black Friday (for $.96 woohoo!).
The phone did not come with a memory card so I just bought a 32gb Sandisk Ultra MicroSDHC Class 10 card from Best Buy the other day.
Is all 32 gb of space available for apps? I'm so disappointed about not being able to move apps to an SD card. Nova 3 is almost 2 gigs! With Shadowgun and Dead Trigger installed, I'm out of space on my 16gb S3. I would have bought the 32gb model if I would have known ahead of time.
So, I bought a 16Gb S3 and thought, 'hey the space is no problem, I'll buy a 64Gb SD card, that's twice the space my iPhone had!'
I tried to sync my iTunes with the S3 using 'easy tunes sync' the app seems to work well, but a big problem, 'warning, not enough space!' :(
The phone's internal memory is too small, it's true, but my SD is massive.
The question I am faced with is, how do I set m
