After a recent update of my LMDE, the gnome-screenshot tool started making an annoying camera shutter noise every time a screenshot is taken. This is both annoying and startling (especially if you happen to be wearing earphones when taking the screenshot).

I'm using ubuntu 13.04 x64 with unity. I have installed bumblebee support for my nvidia gf310m card. However when I try to make a screenshot (doesn't matter - shutter, default gnome utility, or even my own application in qt) sometimes i get blank file. When I get blank file once I must restart my system because I will be unable to make a proper screenshot.
This is the oddest thing I've ever seen. When I take a screenshot of a window or my desktop, I instead receive an older copy of the window or screenshot. What I mean, is that once I take a screenshot using gnome screenshot tool, I will forever get that screenshot when I try and take another. I'm running with the open drivers, under and amd/ati card.
Most popular tool to take screenshots on gnome desktop But there a lot of tips and tricks for taking screenshots for your desktop, windows, and your active running applications you might not familiar with it.
I have tried many screenshot apps but I have not found one which works properly. 90% of apps I've tried produce completely distorted screenshots with heavy shear effects. The app I am using now is one that at least produces a screenshot but with a big black band on the right of the actual screenshot.
