Screen unlock delay?

http://forums.androidcentral.com – Just purchased my GN2 yesterday and getting used to it. First impressions are positive, but the size is definitely something that I have to get used to. Coming from a GS3, when I push the lock/unlock button, there is a delay before the screen comes on. I have it set to NO unlock so when I press the button I expect the screen to come on immediately similar to my GS3. There is is at least a 1 second delay before the screen actually comes on. Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions to it? I am using Nova Launcher, but the delay was there before I installed that and is no different (HowTos)

hello everyone my one x have a problem when i want to wake up the screen(that mean press the power button when one x is standby) i find that it will be delay the 3 button of one x will be light first , then the screen will appears the lock screen sometimes it only delay 0.5second , sometimes it delay around 3 second it let me feel so bad,how can I slove it? i have try to flash any other ro

I purchased a Nexus 4 8GB on launch day. The device consistently (multiple times per day) would be non-responsive when I pushed the power button to do a PIN unlock. I had to cycle the power button to get it to respond.

I called in an RMA the other night, Google overnighted a new phone to me.

Is it possible to have the screen stay on until I manually press the power button while unlocked, but sleep after a set time while locked?

For example if I just press the power button and check the time, or it is accidentally pressed in my pocket, the screen will automatically turn off soon. However, if I wake up and unlock my phone, the screen will stay on until I press the button.

hi all, I am not sure if this is already posted/answered. whenever someone calls me , the phone starts to vibrate, but the screen lighs UP after almost 2 seconds. There is a delay in screen coming UP. I am using default ringtone , but still the problem is there. What can be the issue?

i have been searching but cant seem to find a answer for this and i didnt see it listed in the common problems thread. after every call the is a delay before the screen comes back on.

Sometimes when I use the power button to unlock the screen saver, the pattern lock screen is off center. It's so far off center I can't enter the pattern to unlock the phone. I have to press the power button twice to get a new pattern lock screen that is centered.

I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this with their phone. I've got Executive Assistant running under the lock screen.

Hi guys, I searched around and couldn't find an answer so decided to ask here.

I recently lost my evo 3D and bought a new one to replace it. I noticed after a while that when the phone's screen has been off for a while (i.e. about 30-45 seconds or more) whenever it comes on, it is completely dark.

I noticed today that when screen is locked with slide security you can still pull down status bar and unlock phone as well you can hit the menu button to unlock phone. If I put to face or pattern these options go away. Is there a way to lock status bar when in lockscreen? And more so lock menu button in lock screen so the phone doesn't open in my procket? I'm running Baked Bean ROM.
