So the battery died a few days ago, i was meant to put it on charge but i forgot about it and had to go out and i got back last night. When i went to put it on charge last night it showed the nexus and google screen then turned on like normal. When i went to use it the screen flashed black with lines going across the screen for a second then turned off.
i have nexus 5 i installed last week a new screen with frame and work perfect . Today i tried to install a new rare camera coz it was damage suddenly the screen went black , everything was connected well but when i press hard on the back of nexus the screen become on but no touch feature is on and when i remove my hand become black .
When I use my Nexus 7, sometimes the screen will flash a black screen shortly, I track the logcat using the adb. But didn't find any
error information, it seems like the surfacefinger problem in Android 4.3. Dose anybody find the same problem?
I don't know much about android, this is what my son told me happened.
He has a Nexus 7 2012 (wifi, Nakasi-Grouper) which he had on jellybean 4.3 multirom. He tried to flash 4.3 stock recovery in preparation to upgrade to kitkat using Nexus Root Toolkit while on 4.3 ROM other than the internal one.
-I am using Multirom
-My internal rom is stock 4.2.1
-I also have PA 3.0 installed via multirom
- using Kernel w/ kexec-hardboot patch (stock 4.2)
When I install Ubuntu it will go to the boot screen (where it says 'Ubuntu' with the little loading squares flashing) then it eventually just goes black and doesn't respond. Any ideas on this black screen of death?
