Following the wiki, I decided to check if my DPI settings were correct, and fix them if they were not.
[dspider@arch ~]$ xdpyinfo | grep dimensions
dimensions: 1024x768 pixels (1626x929 millimeters)
[dspider@arch ~]$ xdpyinfo | grep "dots per inch"
resolution: 16x21 dots per inch
[dspider@arch ~]$ "16x21" ??? Wow... I set it to 96x96 and now it looks fine. Thank you so much!Any idea how to switch the resolution to "1366x768" ?
I'm trying to use the windows fonts on my linux machine. I've found a nice tutorial which suggests to change the dpi to 96x96 (windows default).
It seems that i'm not able to change the dpi. I've tried with sax2 => no luck. Manually editing the xorg.conf file => no luck. My dpi remain always the same. I've logged out even rebooted. Same.

Hello everyone,On my system (Arch64, Gnome 3), some fonts are very small in some applications which use qt. All the fonts in Spotify (native) are barely readable. Same thing in KeepassX for the entry details in the bottom panel, although the rest of the text is normal. VLC works fine.I checked the default font in qtconfig, it's Cantarell 12 (as for gnome).
I have an TV screen which I would like to attach to my laptop with the right resolution. Just because this is basic stuff I searched and found a lot about the xorg.conf file, modelines and so on.
My Screen has a resolution of 1920 to 1080 pixels and I created this xorg.conf
But in the nvidia settings no trace of this resolution appears.
What is wrong about this? Any Ideas?
I was creating themes for Nokia phones on 11.10 so I need an application to reduce the dimensions and size of a given image precisely, say X-KB and x*y Dimensions, Is there any such application?, Help needed.
Hi All,
I'm looking for accessories such as extended battery and battery cover and case for the Koodo Samsung Galaxy SII T989D.
However all accessories available online are listed for T989 instead of the T989D.
GSMARENA reports that the dimensions are different.
