I was attempting to downgrade and move back to complete stock (Rom, Recovery, S-On, all that)
and after flashing the stock recovery (i think) and rebooting, I lost all service connectivity.
So...I'm currently in Egypt and out of the US. I bought a Vodafone SIM card and stuck it in my Rezound. This worked only if I changed the cell radio settings in the *#*#4636#*#* phone info menu to "WCDMA Preferred" or "WCDMA Only". I was able to send and receive calls. Then all of a sudden a few days ago my phone said it had no service. I hadn't changed anything.
a few months back I moved to the Houston area... ATT coverage SUCKS around here... I don't get service at a number of places I spend time and was planning to move on to another service as soon as my time with ATT was done (can cancel with no ETF in another week or so)
with my job situation right now and my usage prepaid seemed to be a good option...
Hi guys,
So after being with Sprint for more than 6 years I decided I was tired with their garbage service and paying $80 a month even with my 23% discount. So I took the plunge and made the change to Solavei, I was a little skeptical of the service at first but, I have been with them over 2 weeks now and I can not say one bad thing about them! It is great service for a cheap rate.
I like my phone, I like my plan, but this is getting annoying.
Scenario- new refill card in my prepaid account a few days ago. There's more than enough money to cover the new month starting today. Issue one- the my account changed from charge date of 2-1-2013 to 2-2 and then BACK.
Next, my service appears to be shut off as of a few hours ago despite the above.
So I turned my phone onto 'Sleep' cause it was dying and I've never had this problem before. My mom's phone works fine, it's just mine.
I was running wicked series rom for about a month and a half and the other day my phone wouldn't send or receive texts calls etc. The sim card is good and the phone shows 5 bars signal strength but it wont connect to the tmobile network. I have flashed other custom roms and also went back to stock nothing has fixed the problem.
Just got this email:
"Hi Dr. Lipschitz,
It's not every day that a customer like you comes along. So as a token of our appreciation, we wanted to give you a little something special back...a full month of service on us!
That's right - we covered your monthly charge, no strings attached. It's our way of saying thanks for being a Virgin Mobile customer.
Sound too good to be true? Nah.
I just purchased the Nexus 4 a few days ago and moved my number to T-Mobile for their $60 prepaid plans and I am loving the switch, I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. I was with Sprint for 11 years and I honestly didn't know how bad the service is. I am consistently getting 5 Mbs on HSPA+ in Los Angeles, whereas on 3G I was getting maybe 0.2 and maybe 3 Mbs on 4G for the sprint network.
