I have a Samsung Cell Phone that I can hook up through usb as a mass storage device but Banshee, Rhythmbox, and Exaile do not list it as a device when I try to sync music and files with them but Clementine does with no problems.
Can anyone help me with finding out what is wrong because I don't really understand why one program works while 3 others fail.
I can also browse the folders on the phone t
I connected my Samsung phone via the USB port. It is recognized on the desktop and Nautilus opens it and I see file folders. however, when i go to look in the folders I do not see and files! They appear empty. On a Windows machine those same folders show the files that are there. What is going on...
I was having an issue with the pulseaudio-equalizer an rhythmbox, sound gets really crackly but so far only with rhythmbox, youtube sounds just fine. I tried installing the rhythmbox equalizer thinking I can just use this for now as a work around, I don't mind the extra few clicks to disable one equalizer for a short time then enable it later.
I stopped using rhythmbox years ago because I thought banshee was better, now I would say as far as the 2 players go rhythmbox seems to be much less buggy, (no this isn't a which player is better thread so lets not go there) anyway I use bash scripts to control banshee after login, to get it to start in the background and play music automatically, I want to switch to rhythmbox but can't seem to fi
Rhythmbox could not initialise the Ipod so I used Gtkpod and used Rhythmbox to copy songs into the Ipod.
Can access these files with Nautilus and can play them with Rhythmbox.
The Ipod will not play them and says "use Itunes" if pressed.
Looks like the Ipod uses some sort of song-index which is not working.
Moving files from and to the Ipod (drage and drop) makes Rhythmbox and Gtkpod crash.
I usually create playlists on rhythmbox based on the year of the song (I have a library over 20000 songs). I recently installed Ubuntu 13.04, but Rhythmbox 2.98 reads all mp3 tags except year (shows "unknown"). I've already removed all tracks from the library so rhythmbox would rebuild it again, but it still fails to read the "year" tag.
1. How do I install the third party rhythmbox extensions in Fedora 19?
Here are the extensions that I want to install which are available for ubuntu.
2. Rhythmbox in Fedora 19 has sudeenly stopped showing "Year" value of all mp3 files, in fedora 18 it was working fine.
