Before downloading a 1.14GB app on my Samsung Galaxy Phone, I had 1.24GB free in my internal storage. Strangely, I wasn't able to download the app and I got a message saying "Low on space. Phone storage space is getting low."
I don't understand why I only have 189MB left of internal storage on my phone when I didn't even manage to download the app.
I am using a samsung galaxy s4 mini. When i use settings and go to storage, i see about 5gb free internal space. But when i open the file manager, it shows me available: 1.24 gb . When i try to copy fifa 14 obb file (about 1.25gb) to the internal memory it tells me insufficient space. But i have cleared all my internal memory.
I've been using my phone for about 5 months but recently I faced a problem with the internal storage of my phone.
I have a total space of 1.97GB for my internal storage, apps used up 601MB and it says I only have 216MB available. Adding up the apps and available spaces, I should have about 1GB left. I don't know where it go and I can't update my apps now due to the insufficient space.
I have a weird problem with my S2 running samsung stock ICS 4.0.3. i have been using sgs2 for over a year now and whenever my free internal storage goes below 2.5GB i move the apps to SD card. But now No. of apps in SDcard has hit the Android limit so i simply delete the Apps. But off late that is not freeing up my internal memory.
I try to download apps like Vine and other apps but, it continuously says insufficient storage and I have an sd card and enough internal storage to download. It makes me angry. Please help, I need don't want but need some apps and it wont let me download. I have a Samsung galaxy ace style and I got it June 13th. Thanks.
My android has 350 MB in overall storage available, and when in my storage settings I clicked on the apps tab it says I have 443MB free. However, I cannot install any apps from the Google Play Store. I have been deleting apps to make more space but with no success. I thought it was the size of the app I was trying to update so I tried to install a 160KB app, and got the same error message.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace II I8160 phone, not rooted. Its internal storage is 1.1 Gigabytes, and I have a class 10 SD Card with 8 Gigabytes.
I want to download a large app (Asphalt 8) which is 1.5 Gigabytes, more than the amount of internal storage that I have, but I can fit it on my SD Card.
I was trying to download a HQ TTS voice and I got the insufficient storage error. I then noticed that only about half my memory is reserved for apps only. I have 3.03GB left while only 288MB for apps? Why is there a difference? And how can I increase or change this limit so I could use more space for my applications?
Edit: when I ran DiskUsage I noticed there was such a thing as App Storage.
