Samsung released its first official Galaxy Note 10.1 commercial, and it’s a doozy. The 2-minute plus trailer features James Franco going about his “normal” everyday life, showing how useful the Note 10.1 is for such a busy multitasker. Apparently cooking, pillow fighting, treating illnesses and owning a tiger is all easier with a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 at your disposal.
Ahh, yes, the Samsung Galaxy Note… that “not quite a phone” and “not quite a tablet” phablet device that turns heads every time. Love it or hate it, Samsung is selling tons of these. By tons, I mean more than 5 million units worldwide. A new study is now saying that much of the success of the Note in the U.S. can be attributed to Samsung’s advertising.
Last week Samsung released a video highlighting many of the features that will be on the upcoming premium suite upgrade for the Galaxy S III. There’s still more features as they just released part two. This one shows you Paper Artist, Low Light Shot, Best Face, Easy Mode, Sound Balance, Setup Wizard, and Camera Easy Snap.
Recently Samsung conducted the Samsung Galaxy Note Street Challenge. They gave Android users a few hours to play with the Galaxy Note, and then they hit the streets in Harold Square to see how it stacked against the competition. You guessed it, the competition was the iPhone. Here’s a video of a woman completely shocked that the Galaxy Note does more than her iPhone will ever do.

Since officially announcing their new top of the line LG Optimus G handset, LG has been busy giving us peeks at the device. These teasers have included images and videos like the one that surfaced earlier this week about the phone’s camera capabilities. Add another clue to the list, this time in the form of a TV commercial for the Korean market.
As reported earlier, Samsung is promising to unveil their next U.S. Galaxy device on August 15th. We have speculated that it could be either the Galaxy Note 10.1 or the Galaxy Note 2. To add to the mystery, a new video surfaced on YouTube today from the company that handled casting for a new Samsung commercial.
With the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 ready to roll out around the world, Samsung has released kernel source code for a couple versions of the tablet. Samsung has made available the code for model number SHW-M480K to be branded for Korea Telecom and for model number SHW-M480S to be branded for Southern Korean Telecom. Code for the WiFi-only version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 has not yet been released.
OK, so the Samsung Galaxy S 4 smartphone is finally available in stores now and as part of its massive marketing blitz, the Korean giant has started the next phase of its “Next Big Thing Is Here” advertising campaign— naturally showing off just a little of what the impressive smartphone can do and the iPhone 5 well… can’t do.
