Samsung has just released the source code for Jelly Bean on the Galaxy S2. Thought it would be pretty relevant for the Galaxy Tab Plus community as the devices do share the same SoC and from what I understand can now even boot the same kernel.
The source code can be found as usual at http://opensource.samsung.com/. Hope it helps with the JB port for this device.
With the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 ready to roll out around the world, Samsung has released kernel source code for a couple versions of the tablet. Samsung has made available the code for model number SHW-M480K to be branded for Korea Telecom and for model number SHW-M480S to be branded for Southern Korean Telecom. Code for the WiFi-only version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 has not yet been released.
Here’s some great news for the development community. Samsung has just released the source code for their latest and greatest Galaxy S III. Now devs everywhere will be able to start bringing us some awesome custom ROMs for the GSIII and hopefully some GSIII goodies to flash for other devices such as the Galaxy Nexus or the Galaxy S II.
I will try dedicating this thread to the being a sort of directory of threads for things made for and ported to this device. Just about anything that falls under the category of rom/kernel/recovery/root/tweak goes here.
Yesterday we reported on Samsung posting open source code for their Galaxy Tab 2 devices and AT&T’s version of the Samsung Galaxy Note II. Samsung’s developers have continued their work today, making available the code for the new Samsung Galaxy S III Mini.
