http://androidforums.com – About 4-5 days ago Youtube videos began crashing when attempting to open, saying "sorry this video cannot be played." Previously there had been no problem whatsoever on my Samsung Infuse. This happens when going to the m.youtube.com site and clicking on any video. Interestingly, when opting for Desktop mode at the bottom of the Youtube page, the video plays normally, only I have to adjust the screen somewhat to resize it. The bug also happens when opening on Dolphin or Maxthon browsers. Also, the Youtube app available from Play Store also began misbehaving strangely - the videos almo (General)

It started a few days ago, around Feb 14.

I'm running Firefox on Ubuntu, Lucid Lynx, with Shockwave Flash (flash player) 11.2 r202 which was just updated on Feb 15.

Just about that time I noticed that some of the videos on youtube.com won't play, the video play object says "This video is currently unavailable".

Then after a while, more and more until all videos on youtube.com wo

I cannot tell if it started after one of recent updates, as I do not play YouTube videos on SMPlayer every day. It has been several days since I noticed it.

Description: Clicking 'play' on SMPlayer YouTube browser does not start anything anymore.

I have been using youtube-dl to download videos from YouTube, but suddenly it stopped working:

I am using youtube-dl to download some videos from youtube. But when I write:

youtube-dl http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rn_YodiJO6k

I get:

[youtube] Setting language [youtube] rn_YodiJO6k: Downloading video webpage [youtube] rn_YodiJO6k: Downloading video info webpage [youtube] rn_YodiJO6k: Extracting video information

ERROR: unable to download video

What am I doing wrong?

So, I haven't the slightest idea why, but in the middle of no-where, my phone just hands-down stops loading ANY videos over the internet. By this, I mean the youtube app doesn't work [nor do any apps that play youtube videos], m.youtube.com doesn't work, dailymotion.com doesn't work, etc. At first [when I tried to play it in the app], I thought it was a video problem.

Recently I have been unable to watch YouTube videos outside of the YouTube app. Specifically when I try to watch a video in Pulse, the error message "this video cannot be played" pops up....

Any suggestions?

Strange Youtube Video Issue 15 weeks 3 days ago

I've been using Ubuntu 10.04 and Chrome Version 24.0.1312.57 for awhile now and recently YouTube videos embedded in other sites stopped working. The flash loads, but it never plays. If I click the "Watch on YouTube" button, it plays fine on YouTube's site.

It's never done this before. I think it happened after a recent Chrome update.

Any suggestions?

Debian 6.0 64bit (running as VM on Oracle VBox) Web Browser 2.30.6

On browser: displays youtube video

Clicking Start/Stop tag has no function. It must restart Debian and choose "restore". Then Start/Stop tag has function.
