I have my device samsung s3 galaxy.
Instead of the original imei erased and written in a different IMEI.
I want to install a different rom or custom rom now I want to install the network going. we have to throw again imei with spt box. The most robust way to back up efs file? original or subsequently thrown can make the device can erase imei?

Did some searching but couldnt find anything about my specific problem. Recently installed a couple new ROMs and when I was backing up and restoring between them (with CWM) I somehow lost my IMEI and it was showing as B000000000.

Strangely I see that while entering the code *#06# to display the IMEI, it never shows up.
I bought the nexus 4 from carphone warehouse in uk.
the phone is SIMFREE, but not recognize the cellular network.
also, i cant see the IMEI code:

My IMEI its OK. i'm use *#06# and my imei its ok... im look on black list, and my imei its ok too.

For those with tablets... I have attempted to elliviate our IMEI issues... The program has been developed and grown for over a year now...
It is in the Nook Color forums... since that is what it was originally written for... but has proven to be useful on many other devices.

After a batter outage, it lost its IMEI. (after type, *#06#, imei is null/null). A crossed circle stands in the place of signal bar. Can not may phone call any more.
The phone is rooted once. But it work perfectly after rooting until last batter outage. Is there any way to get it back?
I know there's been multiple threads on this topic but I can't figure out how to solve it after reading each one. Here's my story. I rooted it and then flashed CM10 via cwm recovery and everything was working fine. One day later without doing anything my 4g started slowing down and eventually I can't get anything but edge. I looked around xda and found out that i might be missing my IMEI.
I hv lost my IMEI number after flashing with custom ROM from 2.3 to 4.1.1 JELLYBLAST V3.0.3 on my samsung galaxy ace gt s5830i n nw i m unable to make a call n send msgs i.e completely disconnect from network :(
