November 11th will be a busy day for the folks at Sprint. About three weeks ago, Sprint announced four new LTE devices to be added to their stable, one of them being the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Today we’re learning that the LTE-enabled Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will launch on November 11th for $549.99 on a month-to-month plan.
Samsung will ship its new stylus-equipped 10.1-inch Galaxy Note tablet this month, arming the unit with a 1.4GHz quad core processor, 2GB of RAM, WXGA 1280 x 800 pixel LCD display, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a secondary 1.9 megapixel camera and Google’s (NSDQ: GOOG) Android 4.0. Is that the right horsepower for channel partners promoting mobile devices to their customers?
Samsung Electronics unveiled a 7.7-inch, Android 3.2 version of its Galaxy Tab tablet, as well as a 5.3-inch Android 2.3 phone, each running on a dual-core 1.4GHz processor. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is the first tablet to offer Super AMOLED Plus technology, while the pen-enabled Galaxy Note smartphone settles for Super AMOLED, and both feature 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution....
While Samsung has the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II as its heavyweights for 2012, it has plans on bringing in more players to the fight as well. Reports of no less than 3 Samsung smartphones have now surfaced: the Galaxy S III Mini, Galaxy S II Plus, and Galaxy Premier.
As we inch closer and closer to November 23rd (Black Friday in retail speak), all of those wonderful Black Friday ads begin to slowly get leaked. Today the Best Buy ad has found its way to my desk.
Sprint’s version of the Samsung Galaxy Note II is now on sale for $299 with a new two-year contract. Like it’s other US brethren, the device sports a 5.5-inch 1,280 x 720 HD Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 8-megapixel rear camera atop Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Color choices include Marble White and Titanium Grey.
We recently saw the Galaxy Camera pass through the FCC with AT&T radios in it, so it’s no surprise that AT&T just announced that it will offer it in the coming weeks. This is the same camera that was introduced at last month’s Unpacked Event.
While Apple may have held it’s big announcement yesterday, that isn’t stopping Sprint and Samsung from trekking onward.
As we gear up for a busy holiday shopping season, there’s nothing better than finding out what deals will be available ahead of time. Come Black Friday, Sprint will be offering a trio of steals, including a Samsung Galaxy Nexus or Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE for free with a new two year contract.
