http://forum.xda-developers.com – my quad core s3 is a no-contract phone . uses pre-paid card. so there is no 3g/4g. i get around 4 hours screen on time with power saving mode on with juice defender on. i find that gaming time in this phone is awful. in the iphone 4, i get 5 hours 3d gaming time. now i dont even get 4 hours 2d gaming time! is this normal with the s3? but stll this is a fantastic phone. without gaming i get 6 hours screen on time. just would like to know if you get the same with gaming. iphone 5 seems to have a really good battery with 8h screen on time. Hello, I know there have prob been loads of posts on this.

I got my S3 the other day, awesome phone but concerned with the battery.

I have wifi, mobile data, bluetooth off. Screen brightness low and auto off. Power saving on. I have juice defender on and no facebook or anything like that.

Since i took the phone off charge this morning at 6 (2.75 hours ago) the battery has gone down to 90%.

I just bought the phone 2 days ago. I woke up around 7 am today and it died at 7 pm so it lasted twelve hours with 5 hours of screen time, and at that time it died. I only used it for an hour and 30 minutes in school and was able to get up to 5 hours of screen time whe i was home.When I look at the battery percentage it seems to go down fast though.

I've seen lots of battery life forums, and most of them show great battery life (over 12 hours) with lots of screen time. I'm not even in an LTE area, but I get very good signal. My screen brightness is at about 30% and I have two e-mail accounts (Exchange push and Gmail sync).

So I've been this phone for about 3 weeks now. I love everything about it but the battery life sucks.. I've only used android since I bought my Note II. I caught up with how android works right now but I don't know what apps are draining my battery life. It used to run around 16 hours then it only lasted for 16 hours now. I charged it properly all the time.

Just wondering how much battery life you guys are getting on average.

Please post battery life, screen on time, kernel, and ROM.

So here goes, I lost my Sony xperia P:( and now I have saved up enough to get a new phone, so I need some honest suggestions.

My typical usage for the phone is, gaming, music, browsing. The Xperia P used to last me around 10 hours. I do hope I can get some more battery life, with gaming buttery smooth.

Yes i do wish to play around a lot with ROM`s and mods.

hi all ! i just got my nexus and ...my goodness it is plain aweesoome! i rooted it got paranoid android got franco kernel changed to dark pie ui and now it looks plain badass! but then i think it's battery life is a little weak ...or is it?
