We finally got some official news surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2‘s availability, and whether or not it will come equipped with a dual-core or quad-core processor. When we first heard about the new slate from Samsung we couldn’t help but think that is wasn’t a very big improvement over the original Galaxy Tab 10.1, sporting only a 1GHz dual-core processor.
The citizens of Singapore will now be able to have a device the rest of the world doesn’t for now– a Jelly Bean-powered Samsung Galaxy S III LTE smartphone. That’s right friends, Samsung is currently getting ready for the launch of the device by the end of September.
In targeting the entry-level market, Samsung will be releasing the Galaxy Core Advance in early 2014. The device will be specifically for emerging markets and consumers that want a smartphone on a budget. Behind its 4.7-inch WVGA screen, the Galaxy Core Advance has a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM. A 5MP camera is on the back and Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC are also present.
While Sprint is quietly planning on launching a modest Samsung 4G LTE smartphone sometime in the near-future, Verizon too also has plans on launching a simplified Samsung 4G LTE device on its network as well. According to a source courtesy of the Engadget team, the mysterious Samsung Galaxy Stellar 4G LTE smartphone is set to launch this Thursday, September 6th.
