Hi guys:). I was planning to buy a samsung galaxy beam next week. i have a question to ask, does the galaxy beam make calls?
im afraid it is like the galaxy S that you cannot call :(
Hot off the heels off the announcement of the Galaxy Tab 2, Samsung just announced the Galaxy Beam, which is a projector smartphone. This might actually be one of the coolest new devices for Mobile World Congress. Interestingly enough, Samsung showed this concept almost 2-years ago.
Hi folks. My wife has a stock Samsung Galaxy s3 and I have a rooted HTC One X using AOKP JB build 4. I can't seem to have her beam over a video she recorded. I looked in my "more" settings where generally I configure Android beam and wifi direct, but there is no wifi direct tab.
For all of you in the UK who were interested in Samsung‘s lumen projector smarphone combo, the Galaxy Beam is now in stock on Expansys website for £394.99. Just to recap, the G Beam will boast a 15 lumens pico projector, practically allowing users to walk around with a 50-inch screen TV in their pocket, or so Samsung says.

So i'm VERY new to Android software (i'm used to apple's ios) but i just got a Galaxy s3 and it really is amazing. But the problem is that i don't know what a lot of these things are. Like NFC, Android Beam, S Beam, Wi-Fi Direct mostly. I've seen them in the settings but I don't know what they are. Is Android Beam/S beam the same thing? How about NFC? and what's Wi-Fi direct? Thank you!
In addition to the utter joy of the Jelly Bean update getting out to select Galaxy S III owners, Samsung has announced its latest roadmap highlighting which additional devices are slated for that buttery goodness.
I have 2 Galaxy Notes, i717 running ICS. How does one get android beam to work? I've enabled NFC on both phones and it tells me android beam is ready. So I back-to-back the phones and they both vibrate and make a noise. An "N" appears in the notification bar.
Now what? If I go into anything; picture viewer, music player, file browser...
