It’s an understatement to say Samsung had a successful 2012. With their global success of the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note 2 this past year, Samsung has fiercely placed themselves at the top of the totem pole when it comes to mobile device manufacturing. Thus, it’s widely expected that Samsung plans on moving forward and having an even better 2013.

Samsung’s Lebanon Facebook page surprisingly wasn’t shy about announcing when Samsung expects to launch the Galaxy S IV. Of course, this news shouldn’t come too much of a surprise for us as we expected the S IV to be released around May-June considering that’s the usual timeline Samsung releases the S series.

Samsung’s new portable Bluetooth speaker, model DA-F60, includes apt-X codec support and NFC pairing. Samsung has already made the simplicity of tapping to share, via S Beam, a big deal in their funny/naughty commercials. Now they’re using NFC to simplify Bluetooth pairing (which, if you hear my in-laws tell it, is nearly impossible).

Mobile tech giant, Samsung, has always been one to push the envelope when it comes to developing exciting new advancements in technology, but its latest plans just might alter the future of the modern smartphone as we know it.

As we reported earlier this week, Google appears to be on track to produce a high-end Google Nexus tablet in the 10-inch class in partnership with Samsung. In a new article on CNET covering some of the new display technology, we are treated to a tidbit of information indicating the new device is expected to hit the market in the first half of 2013.

It seems like Samsung is constantly in the rumor mill lately, with the Galaxy S IV coming down the pipe, and the expected tablet refresh for 2013.  Digitimes is reporting Samsung may be pitting their new 7″ inch version of the Galaxy Tab against the Nexus 7 by offering at a sub-$200 price point, possibly as cheap as $149.

  While Samsung has the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II  as its heavyweights for 2012, it has plans on bringing in more players to the fight as well. Reports of no less than 3 Samsung smartphones have now surfaced: the Galaxy S III Mini, Galaxy S II Plus, and Galaxy Premier.

According to SamMobile, Samsung will be releasing their newly unveiled Galaxy Tab 3 this week in Eastern Europe. The 3G/WiFi model can be expected around June 10th.
