Hi,
I bought myself a Samsung ML-2165W Printer, installed Samsung Unified Printer Driver (followed instructions on http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=341621). Now my computer seems to recognize the printer, but happily just says 'Document is Printing on ML-2160-Series' and a bit later 'Printing Completed'.
Today I made a update of the system. Pacman told me, it will update from heimdal to krb5. Amongst others, cups was updated. Directly after the update my network printer won't work anymore (nothing happens).
Hi teekay, many thanks for your helpful reply that seemed to work at first but still no printing, I have a Samsung ML-2010 B@W laser that is a usb2 connection.

Hello.
My printer has suddenly stopped working correctly, printing starts but paper stops half way through, although a message continues to say Printing from PC. This is the printer setting usb://Canon/MP610%20series?serial=491CED&interface=1. I tried printing a test page but this did not work.
I have wubi dual boot with Windows 7.
Hi I have a problem, i install Office and Adobe Reader with wine, but the applications do not detect my printer or scanner. On native Linux applications I can print and scan correctly, my brother dcp7065 is connected wirelessly to my notebook.Do you have to set something in wine so you can use the scanner and printer? Thanks and sorry for my poor english
can't get the Samsung CLP-620ND printer that is on my local network to work. Using "system settings" app, it always installs as if it is a local printer, even though I selected "network printer." Also, when I tried to specify the URL address of the printer, Fedora still thought it was hooked to the local machine. Bah.
Has anyone gotten it to work?
Hi,
after an update to 11.2 (from 11.1), 64 bit, I don't get the printer to work. I reinstalled the driver and checked in cups: it says that the printer is available and waiting for a job. When I send something to the printer, nothing happens. The priont job will be stopped immediately.
