Recent reports have indicated tensions could exist between Google and Samsung, but were downplayed by Google CFO and Senior Vice President Patrick Pichette as well as Samsung Mobile Chief JK Shin. Although their working relationship is probably amicable, I have to believe that there is a little uneasiness at Google. Consumers continue to buy Samsung Galaxy branded phones in droves.
Samsung announced new versions of its high-end Galaxy S Android phones for Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile. Like the original Samsung Galaxy S, which will be sold under that name at U.S. Cellular, the Verizon Fascinate and T-Mobile Vibrant are keyboard-less phones, whereas Sprint's WiMAX-enabled Samsung Epic 4G mimics the recently tipped Galaxy S Pro design, which adds a slider keyboard....
When it came to phones for 2011, the two hottest phones in terms of buzz had to be the Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy Note. Interestingly enough, both phones are made by Samsung. There are a lot of people that think Android is better than iOS for many reasons, but most fans won’t put simplicity at the top of the list. Well according to a survey by Siegel+Gale, Samsung Galaxy phones are simpler than the iPhone. This survey was conducted with 400 people, and while both phones scored well, Samsung’s Galaxy line came out as the winner.
