Samsung 300E4A Wireless Connection Problems on Ubuntu 12.04

view story

http://askubuntu.com – First, let me point out that I have absolutely no experience with Ubuntu before 12.04 LTS and I am a total beginner and can't build or write anything worth mentioning. The problem is that Ubuntu will not connect to the wireless network I have at home. My Samsung's wireless card is Intel Centrino Wireless N-130 (v 3.2.0) I think...and from what I understand, it has to be updated? Also, the screen freezes and flickers and the brightness meter just randomly appears. This never happened when I was running Windows 7. Can anyone help me? Thank you (HowTos)
