Let me preface this with: I do NOT have root access available.
I recently got locked out of my account because I did not know the password expiration was getting close, then elapsed. I want to add a check to my startup script that checks and displays the time so I know when it is coming near.
Is there a command or way of getting the timestamp when my user password will expire?
Most of the user passwords were reset. 4:30pm local time over the weekend (non working day).
Under YaST -> Local security I've configured password settings of:
Min password length: 8
Number of passwords to remember: 6
Min age: 1
Max age: 21
Days before password expire warning: 3
Given that - why haven't I been requested to reset my password for this account?

Recently Windows Azure Storage SSL certificate expired and that causes a lot of problems. Now the certificate can be retrieved by any user and so everyone could have noticed that it was going to expire.
Now what's the typical timeframe of replacing a soon to expire certificate?
