http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi, I am trying to set-up a SAMBA server on my Fedora 17 (32 bit). [root@hojo ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) [root@hojo ~]# uname -r 3.6.6-1.fc17.x86_64 I want to share my USB drive (which is formatted with VFAT -- it is a Buffalo 500 GB USB drive) to other laptops/desktops (most of them are running variouns versions of FEDORA, such as F15 and F16 etc). I want to use SAMBA as occasionally as I may boot one of my machines into Windows and should have access to the "shared" USB drive over network. I followed some SAMBA and FEDORA tutor (HowTos)
