http://unix.stackexchange.com – I think I configured my Samba fine, but I cant access the share from a Windows machine. The network is set as bridged in VB configuration and I can ping the Windows machine from CentOS. Also, I can ping it back from the Windows machine. Bellow is my smb.conf: #====global===== [global] workgroup = WORKGROUP netbios name = centos security = share map to quest = bad user #====share==== [MyShare] path = /samba/share browsable = yes writable = yes guiest ok = yes read only = no The smb, abd, and nbd services are loaded and running. Any ideas? (HowTos)
